The right fabric comes down to how and where you plan to use your flag. Both options are made from 100% polyester, but each offers a different balance of weight, movement, and durability.
The Everyday Flyer – Lightweight & Versatile 100D (100 g/m²)
Your go-to fabric for stylish custom flags. This light and durable fabric catches even the slightest breeze, keeping your flag in constant, graceful motion. Its smooth surface delivers vibrant, sharp color clarity.
Ideal for: Everyday indoor or outdoor use, events, occasional displays, and anyone who prefers a lighter flag with natural movement.
Heavier Triple-Layer Woven Construction (250 g/m²)
Our rip-resistant material is made from 100% polyester and features an innovative triple-layer woven construction, with a black polyester layer woven directly between two outer layers. This heavier construction provides greater opacity and better resistance to tearing and weare.
Ideal for: Frequent outdoor use, business displays, high-traffic locations, and those who prioritize durability over lightweight movement.
A good flag is more than the fabric. Printing, stitching, and finishing details all play a part in how it looks, hangs, and holds up over time.
Our dye-sublimation printing process infuses color into the polyester fabric, helping logos, text, photos, and artwork reproduce with clean details and rich color.
Flag edges are carefully hemmed and double-stitched seams reduce fraying, ensuring discerning customers from marinas to resorts get exactly what they need.
Choose from grommets or a pole sleeve based on how you plan to hang your flag. Each option is finished as part of the flag, so it arrives ready for your intended setup.

Lightweight with Vibrant Color on Both Sides
Our single-sided flags use Advanced Dual-Spray Technology, printing both sides of the same piece of fabric with precisely aligned artwork.
This helps the reverse side retain stronger, more vibrant color instead of appearing faded or washed out.
The single-piece construction also keeps the flag lighter, allowing it to move more easily in the wind.

Two Correctly Oriented Sides with a Blackout Layer
Our standard double-sided flags are constructed using two separately printed outer fabric panels with a blackout layer between them.
Each side is printed independently, allowing text, logos, and artwork to appear in the correct orientation when viewed from either direction. The center blackout layer helps reduce show-through between the two printed sides, keeping each design clear and visually separated.

Our Rip-Resistant material, by comparison, is a single fabric with an integrated triple-layer woven construction, including a black polyester layer woven between the two outer layers.
Because the material is naturally thicker and more opaque, each outer surface can be printed independently, allowing designs to appear clearly on both sides without adding separate fabric panels.

A little care can go a long way toward keeping your custom flag looking its best. For both standard and Rip-Resistant polyester flags, gentle cleaning, complete drying, and proper storage are the essentials.
For routine cleaning, spot-clean when possible. If a full wash is needed, hand wash your flag in cold water with a small amount of mild detergent. Avoid bleach, harsh cleaners, scrubbing, and machine washing.
Gently press out excess water with a clean towel — don’t twist or wring the fabric. Hang the flag or lay it flat to air dry, preferably in the shade. Avoid dryers and high heat.
Make sure your flag is completely dry before storing it. Fold or roll it loosely and keep it in a cool, dry place away from moisture. For thicker double-sided flags, avoid tight folds that may create deep creases.
Quick tip: Small marks are often easiest to handle with a damp cloth and mild soap before they become harder to remove.

Like any textile flag, however, continued exposure to strong wind, harsh weather, and prolonged sunlight will gradually cause wear. Bringing your flag indoors during severe weather can help extend its usable life.
