1. Customization & Design

Absolutely! Whether you have a sketch, an idea, or nothing at all, our design team is here to help. We offer free design assistance with every order.

No problem. Just tell us what you’re envisioning, and we’ll help bring it to life, colors, symbols, fonts, or even a theme. That’s what we’re here for!

Yes! We send a digital proof for your approval before production begins. We don’t print anything without your thumbs-up.

We prefer high-resolution PNG, JPG, PDF, AI, or SVG files. But don’t worry, if you’re unsure, just send us what you have and we’ll make it work.

To check the quality of your image, open it in an image viewer or use our design tool. Zoom in or enlarge the image. If it appears grainy, it’s a sign of low quality. For the best results, always use the highest quality image available.

Many online images are low resolution and unsuitable for printing. To find higher-quality images, use Google’s image search, click “Show Options,” and select “Large” or “Medium” on the left. Always ensure you have permission to use any images in your design.

2. Orders & Payment

You can start by choosing a flag type and customizing it online. Or, if you want help, Contact Us, we’re happy to walk you through the process.

Yes! If you’re ordering for a group, team, school, or business, reach out,  we’ll create a custom quote for you.

We accept all major credit cards and secure checkout through Stripe.

If your order hasn’t entered production, yes. For custom flags, we start production quickly. So please email us right away if you need to make a change.

After submitting your order, you’ll receive a confirmation email with your final order.

If you haven’t received your confirmation email, please check your junk or spam folder. If it’s not there, verify that you used the correct email address or contact us for further assistance.

We’ll send you an approval email with the final proof within 48 hours before production begins. If you need any changes, please contact customer service at [email protected] before confirming the proof. Once the proof is confirmed, production will start immediately, and changes will no longer be possible.

3. Shipping & Delivery

  • Standard: 10–25 days (including production & shipping)
  • Express: 5–10 business days
    You’ll receive tracking info once your order ships.

Yes! Select Express at checkout or contact us for time-sensitive orders.

Yes, we ship to most countries worldwide via Post Office International or FedEx Express. If your country is not listed, please email us at [email protected] for assistance.

Yes, you’ll receive an email with tracking as soon as your flag is shipped.

Simply register for a free account, then check your order status under “My Orders” in your account

If you need to update your shipping address, please email us at [email protected] immediately. Once the product is dispatched, we cannot change the delivery address.

4. Returns & Warranty

  • Non-custom items: Return within 30 days in original condition.
  • Custom items: Final sale, unless there’s a production error (we’ll make it right!).

We stand by our work. If there’s a material flaw or printing issue, we’ll replace it under our 90-day quality guarantee. Just send us a photo and your order number.

5. Products

All available sign sizes and shapes are listed on our website. We continually expand our product range, so feel free to share any suggestions for future additions by sending an inquiry through our Support page.

We currently offer the following colors: white, gray, black, navy, blue, teal, green, yellow, brick, khaki, red, sky blue, orange, and purple.
Note: Additional colors may be available for custom uploaded images.

Due to variations in monitor calibrations, the printed colors may not always match exactly what you see on your screen.

We’ll handle it for you. Double-sided signs with arrows are automatically adjusted to ensure the arrows point in the same direction from both sides.

We offer a 90-day guarantee against manufacturing defects. If a product fails or breaks due to such defects within 90 days, we will either replace it or issue a refund/credit equal to its value. BuildASign.com reserves the right to investigate the claim and determine eligibility for coverage under this guarantee.

6. Installation & Maintenance

Use a steam iron on polyester flags. Fill the iron with water, set it to the lowest steam setting, and turn the flag inside out. Place it flat on the ironing board, smooth out any bumps, and hold the iron 1-2 inches above the fabric. Move it back and forth to steam out wrinkles. Hang the flag to cool and avoid touching it until ready to use.
